  • Bernard Keogh

    Bernie Keogh - Trustee Chair

    Bernie is a Chartered Building Manager with over 20 years of experience in the UK construction industry. He successfully founded and led a construction company with a £15 million turnover in the South West of England, and now continues in a part-time non-executive role. Since 2019, Bernard has been traveling regularly to Myanmar, supporting local water aid charities and communities in need. As the founder and driving force behind Wellspring Myanmar, he now dedicates his time to the charity’s strategic development and operational delivery, bringing hands-on experience, technical insight, and deep cultural understanding.

  • Rev’d Canon Tom Kennar M.A. - Trustee

    Tom is the Rector of St Faith’s Church in Havant, Hampshire, and an Honorary Canon of Portsmouth Cathedral, as well as two cathedrals in Ghana, in recognition of his philanthropic work in West Africa. Before his ordination in 2005, Tom served as an independent advisor to HM Government, focusing on relationships between the state and the voluntary sector. He previously held senior roles in the international YMCA movement, including representing YMCA England in Romania. Tom brings decades of experience in the voluntary sector, international aid, and faith-based development work to his role at Wellspring Myanmar.

  • Fran Keogh

    Fran Keogh - Trustee

    Fran holds a degree in the arts and has a professional background in administration and property management. Over the past eight years, she has travelled extensively in Myanmar, developing a strong appreciation for its culture and the complex challenges faced by its people. Her deep personal connection to the country—rooted in compassion and first-hand experience—ensures her contributions as a trustee are both strategically sound and authentically aligned with the communities Wellspring serves. Fran plays a key role in planning, donor engagement, and cross-cultural communications.

  • Khin Mar Aye - Administrator

    Khin Mar Aye grew up in a rural village in Myanmar’s Dry Zone, where she experienced first-hand the challenges of living without reliable access to water. She later moved away to train as a teacher and now teaches at a school in Kyaupadaung. Alongside her teaching, she plays an active role in supporting our projects and assisting with the charity’s administration.

  • Myint Myint Maw - Charity Facillitator

    Raised in a rural village, Myint Myint Maw studied engineering at Yangon University before spending two years in the Philippines training as a teacher. She now runs several schools in Kyaukpadaung and works closely with local families and communities. Her leadership and commitment to education, combined with her dedication to community welfare, make her a vital part of Wellspring Myanmar’s mission to improve lives through access to water and opportunity.Description goes here

  • Rob Hutchins

    Rob is a qualified management accountant with extensive experience in finance and assurance across the public sector. Formerly Head of the Devon Assurance Partnership, he was responsible for internal audit, risk management, and counter-fraud services across multiple organisations. He has also led large finance teams in local government and health, managing budgets of over £60 million. Now semi-retired, Rob brings strong financial governance, accountability, and risk oversight to the Wellspring Myanmar board.
